What is something you have changed your mind about in the past 2 years?
That the pursuit of fitness is about an end goal, a finish line, a goal being achieved and crossed off a list. Then setting a new finish line and a new goal. I’ve come to realize that the best mindset you can adopt about your health and fitness is one where you can find enjoyment of the process itself, because if you do it right, it never ends. Are goals necessary? Yes. Are goals everything? No. Learn to love the process, learn to stay disciplined, realize the purpose of the mundane tasks repeated over time, and continue to keep showing up for yourself and working hard.
Who has been the biggest influence on you as a Health and Performance Coach?
I wouldn’t be in this position today without having met Janine Shillington. She believed in me when I first started changing my own health and life, she pushed me every day, in every way, and absolutely has helped shape me into the Coach that I am today. Her ability to connect with people and push them to new levels is something I admire and try my best to emulate.
Who has been the biggest influence on you as a person?
I don’t know that there’s any one person who has been the biggest influence on me as a person. I am inspired by anyone with big goals, a gritty work ethic, and dedication to themselves and their habits.

Current Training Goals For Yourself?
My current goals are to significantly improve my gymnastics in CrossFit and also to hit a 400+ pound back squat.
What made you choose this career path?
Reinventing myself made me realize that I have passion and purpose in helping others regain control of their health and their life. I want to inspire and help people to realize their own potential, and to teach them that at any moment you can make the decision to take full control of your actions and recreate who you are.
Things you personally value in a coach?
I place tremendous value on character before anything else. For me, knowing that you are a good human with good morals are things that matter a lot to me. I want to be coached by someone I trust as a leader both in and out of the gym and I think credentials come second to that. In order for me to commit to do what you ask of me, to “buy in” to the process, I need to know I can relate to and trust you. These values define who I aspire to be as a coach also.
